and it was time for a jolly good clean up too!

howevers, i was still having a problem with the security nuts

another garage had broken my security nut and i am concerned that if i have a flat tyre, that i will not be able to remove the wheel!

so another try to remove the nut without the secret key was attempted!

I had a flat tyre and had to have it fixed on the spot, however one of the bolts to remove the wheel, has a secret nut

The garage who fixed the hole in the tyre, did not realise that the machine used to remove the other normal wheel nuts, should NOT be used on the special wheel nut!  

The tyre garage completely ruined my special wheel nut key and these photos show the garage in Djebel and their dedicated attempts to remove the wheel for me!  

The guys at the Djebel garage fix all kinds of cars, however the MGF with its rear engine is proving a real challenge for the mechanics!

But as you see from these photos, their dedication paid off!

We are in the process of replacing the steering parts and are currently awaiting some further parts to be delivered from the UK




The Hilux repairs currently consist of : the bottom shock mounting bolt, bottom swivel joint, checking the steering alignment, clamping the brake hose, complete steering link assembly, greased nipple on top swivel joint, new ball joints, new bottom swivel joint fitted, passenger side steering joints, repairing the CV boot, steering box arm, steering damper joint, steering relay, the offending brake caliper, top swivel joing fixing nut with split pin plus the old parts
